Dr. Moira Rudolf

 

Dr Moira Rudolf, Walking Tour Guide, studied for nine years to qualify as an Architectural Historian, specialising in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, initially at the University of Manchester (BA Hons, History of Art, First Class, 1982) and then at the University of London, Courtauld Institute of Art (PhD: ‘The Life and Work of Thomas Harrison of Chester [Architect], 1744-1829’, 1988). She has a great (almost lifelong) enthusiasm for the architectural/social history of Bath having fallen in love with the city at the age of five and, somewhat later, with the life, works and wit of Jane Austen. She moved to Bath permanently in 1999, and has been guiding ever since.
